Swimming Pool LIGHTING
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GOOD POOL AND A GREAT POOL CAN COME DOWN TO SWIMMING POOL LIGHTING. A POOL THAT ILLUMINATES AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY IS ONE WORTH SHOWING OFF TO YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Swimming pool lighting serves as both a functional and aesthetic purpose and comes highly recommended to provide you with a safe and well-lit place to swim, no matter the time of day. Whether you fancy a night time dip or you like to swim laps in the early hours of the morning, we will ensure the pool is well lit and easy to use!
Types of Swimming Pool Lighting
Underwater Pool Lights
Underwater lights are installed directly into the pool wall or floor, providing consistent illumination throughout the water.
- LED underwater lights are the most popular choice due to their energy efficiency and longevity. They also offer up a wide range of colour options for a bit of fun in the water.
- Quantum WN Series Pool Light – features an ultra flush design with a 17mm protrusion length which creates a seamless blending into the pool design. Available in a range of rim colours and with single and multi-colour light formats upon request.
- Atom EM Series Pool Light – the Atom provides a smaller sized diameter whilst still being comparable to the Quantum in its minimal protrusion length. Also available in single colour or multi-colour light formats to enable the perfect combination of colours to suit your pool design.
Surface mounted pool lights
Surface mounted pool lighting is typically installed on the side of the pool and quite often protrude out into the pool, depending on the make and model.
We predominately use surface mounted pool lighting for pool renovations and when replacing existing surface mounted lighting.
Typically surface mounted pool lights would not be used on a new pool build.
Floating pool lights
Add a bit of colour or pizazz to your pool with floating lights which can be placed directly into the water to light it up.
Floating lights are often powered by batteries or solar panels and can be easily moved around the pool as needed.
