Choosing the right water features for your Melbourne swimming pool

Waterfalls
Whether it’s a natural rock waterfall or a sleek contemporary design, waterfalls create a captivating focal point mixed with the soothing sound of flowing water. Natural rock waterfalls are crafted from large stones and boulders, mimicking the appearance of a cascading stream, while modern waterfall designs often feature sleek lines and geometric shapes. A waterfall adds an element of luxury mixed with fun for everyone.

Parascopes
A parascope is a great addition to any pool and can give you the soothing sound of a gentle waterfall while you lounge beside the calm waters of your pool. It encompasses a variable height and retracts flush with the pool floor when it’s time to jump in.

Deck jets
These are based in your pool deck or coping and lie flush with the surface. They are designed to shoot streams of water into your pool at varying heights, depending on the installation. They may also be accompanied by lights which illuminate the shooting water.

Laminars
Laminars create totally clear, uniform arcs of moving water that originate from either your pool deck or surrounding landscape. They give off the effect of almost looking like a still glass rod projecting into the water, apart from where the stream hits the pool water. They can also be illuminated with LED or fibre optic lighting.

Mini jets
A mini jet can be mounted in the wall of your pool slightly above water level or horizontally in the pool deck and is able to project a stream of water at a 45-degree angle and require minimal water flow to operate. Mini jets are designed with adjustable nozzles and can be used to modify the direction and length of water
